The Future of Theatre
This new venture of the Belleville Theatre Guild offers area youth the chance to get theatre training that will stress excellent production values. The Young Pinnacle Players (YPP) will be responsible for learning about lighting, set design, set painting, front of house, sound design, acting, makeup and stage management. Prop making and costume creation will also be a part of this production.
Adults will mentor the students, but ultimately, students will be responsible for much of the final product.
Join us in the audience or as a participant and help the BTG face the future while bringing along the young creative kids of the Belleville region.

Magic and Wonder
The story of the velveteen rabbit is one most can relate to easily. This story of a discarded but once loved toy seems familiar to even those people who have never read it. Other stories like Toy Story and The Nutcracker have revealed that the nursery can come to life when no one is around. The marvel of the plot of Velveteen Rabbit is in the magic of the ending. As depicted in the illustration here, the little fairy gives the rabbit something special. What a fine theatrical moment!
