Quinte and Area youth needed to fill roles on stage and off

The Velveteen Rabbit will feature the efforts of local youth who want to get more experience and practice their theatre craft.

AUDITION DATES:

Sunday, September 8, 2013, 2:00 p.m.
Monday, September 9, 2013, 7:00 p.m.

AUDITION LOCATION:

The Green Room
The Pinnacle Playhouse, 256 Pinnacle St., Belleville

Youth aged 11 to 18 are encouraged to come out and audition. Rehearsals will be 2 to 4 times a week. The members of the ensemble will be actors, painters and backstage crew.
If you are interested in stage managing, being a lighting operator, designing lights, running sound, painting the set, building costumes, being the prompter, choreographer, or a dancer or actor, come out and get involved. Every job is important.

When the lights go out in the nursery, the toys spring to life. This enchanting adaptation of the classic children’s story creatively tells the miraculous story of a stuffed animal made real by a child’s love and a little magic. Laugh and cry along with the characters as they encounter the trials and tribulations of life in the nursery. This is the first production of the all-new Young Pinnacle Players, a group of students aged 11 to 18. In keeping with the Belleville Theatre Guild’s training mandate, the students will be responsible for virtually every aspect of this play including set painting, stage management, makeup, costumes and acting.
