Time to Start Thinking About the Move

With only 31 days until we open, it is time to start thinking about preparing for an audience. After our first stumble-through and a wonderful set change rehearsal, the cast is very excited about moving into our other premises to start working on the set, costumes, and props. Next week, we will start painting under the tutelage of none other than our creative set designer, Siobhan. The oversize building blocks are all built, the vinyl stick on letters will soon be ready to go, and eventually, our set will be vertical and secured into the braces. Unfortunately, one of the theatre's set builders was seriously injured in a fall this weekend, so we will be missing his presence for a while. We are all shocked by this unexpected turn of events, and fervently wish that he recovers quickly.
